History: Yuka's parents got a divorce when she was still too young to be affected negatively by it. Instead she grew up with her mom jumping place and leaving for a new house nearly every year until settling in a comfy little apartment. Soon after Yuka's mother signed her up for extracurricular actives and eventually she fell into dance lessons regularly.  When she started showing a 'true natural' hang of it her mother grabbed the opportunity by the horns and just went with it.  Luckily, Yuka ended up loving dance regardless so her mother living vicariously through her hasn't even been noticed. Yuka's father wasn't an absent figure in her like and she got to visit him every summer as well (It was pretty rad and she herself likes to brag about all her experiences and places she's visited), so in her eyes she has a perfectly healthy and nice family dynamic.   Eventually, her mother got a job in Johto and they got to move around again just in time for Yuka to be looking at a college to attend.  Sure enough she picked out Ajisai and is pretty darn happy with it.
